The Mediation Center of Greater Green Bay was established in 1998 as a community initiative of the League of Women Voters. We strive to serve as a primary community resource for facilitating conflict resolution by using a corps of more than 40 professionally-trained, volunteer mediators. They provide the necessary tools to peacefully and effectively resolve disputes in an affordable manner.
Of the more than 11,000 mediations we have conducted, 80% have successfully resolved. That success rate increases to more than 90% in cases involving the issue of eviction – a rate rivaling that of similar organizations throughout the United States.
The Mediation Center of Greater Green Bay is a resource for court-ordered and private mediation of conflicts involving small claims, contractual disputes, elderly issues, and neighborhood disagreements.
